WHAT IS DISCIPLESHIP
At Grandview Baptist Church, we believe in the Great Commission — making disciples of all nations. We believe that being a born again Christian means being devoted to disciple making. We believe that being a disciple maker means being a mentor to someone younger in the faith. This is how we see Jesus doing ministry in the gospels.
HOW TO BECOME A DISCIPLE
Practically, this looks like meeting with your disciple once a week to discuss their walk with Christ, encourage them, and pray with them. Many of our members who have devoted themselves to disciple making have found it to be the most life giving ministry they’ve ever been apart of. Those who have been discipled can give a testimony to growth they experienced that they might not have otherwise.
